Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
If property damage to a school resulted from six known parties but only three can be positively identified, do those three have to reimburse the entire amount of the claimed damages?

Criminal restitution get set by what is called "joint and several" liability. Which means that all are liable for the full amount. In turn, that means that while in a perfect world, all pay their portion. However, each person can get stuck paying for the whole thing if nobody else holds up their end. You then have to try to sue the others civilly for their contribution.
