Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Rape - No evidence?
My wife was raped by an ex-boyfriend, but has no evidence to prove it so it ends up being her word against his, is there any way any legal action can be taken towards this? She tried fighting it as much as possible but being pregnant she was afraid he would be too rough if she persisted so she ended up giving in.

Re: Rape - No evidence?
Talk to the police and the district attorney where the rape occurred. Tell your wife, if she is willing to do this, to simply tell as much as she can about the incident. It would help if she wrote down everything she can remember. It would help even more if she had written something, or talked with people, just after the rape.
There may be more evidence than you realize. The police and DA can help you find it, if it exists.
Good luck, and I'm sorry for the pain this man has brought into your lives.
