Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Rape.
My step-father (age: 25) raped my little sister (Age: 16) last night, admitted it to the cops as a ''Mistake''. My little sister wants to press charges, my step-father is also military, can I get him tried for treason in addition to the rape charges? Since he is military, and SWORE to protect the people of this country, is it possible to try him for it?

Re: Rape.
If I were in your place, I would want to lock him up and lose the key, but no, he can't be tried for treason. What is likely to happen is that if he is convicted, or pleads out to a lesser charge, he will be dishonorably discharged and receive no benefits from the military.
I am sorry for the pain this man has brought into your lives.
