Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Recently Ticketed
I am currently on probation, and got a ticket for driving w/o a valid drivers licence and careless driving. I am 16 years old. Will my recent ticket violate my probation?

It will if you are convicted.

Re: Recently Ticketed
If your probation has the typical "NVL OTTI" provision, your conviction for careless driving would likely be a traffic infraction and therefore not sufficient to trigger revocation due to violation. The driving w/o a valid license may or may not be handled as a traffic infraction. You should not plead as charged. Get counsel near where you live.
