Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Registered Sex Offender

I was convicted on a F4 Child solicitation in 1998 I was 20 and wrote a letter asking for a 17 year old male to masturbate for me for $50. I have been on probation for the last 4 years 100% in compliance with all terms and conditions. September of this year I was arrested on a DV and my attorney and partner are in agreement that I was not the agressor in this case; however, I was also to register as a R.S.O and failed to do so on my birthdate. I have registered 8 times since my conviction date. I believe that I was so over whelmed with the DV that I honestly forgot to register. Do you think there will be any jail time served in these cases? or what do you feel from your experience will be the out come of this. email me or call or leave your phone number for me to call you. thank you for your time.

Re: Registered Sex Offender

Registration cases are very serious in Colorado. There is mandatory jail time and few jurisdictions plea bargain these matters. Getting an attorney crucial to resolve the matters. I have handled several similar cases and have been able to resolve these matters.
