Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I resently had a back ground check over getting my guns out of repair. i was denied. it was over a domestic violenece was charge agained me in1989. i need that to go away so i can hunt again and get a hazmat on my cdl. this all happen in loveland co. and i was throwed in jail in fort collins.

A Brady Bill provision "the Lautenberg Amendment" preculdes you from owning a gun if you are convicted of a "misdemeanor crime of domestic violence". If you were convicted or pleaded guilty, you are out of luck. Military members and cops lose their jobs over this. Fight the conviction (likely too late now).
