Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I was at my residence in the yard. 2 males and 1 female whom ive never seen before, attacked me. They knocked me to the ground, kicked me, and hit me with a metal bar. I ran in my house. 2 mins later 3 police officers came to my door. I thought neighbor called and was relieved. I told the officer what happened. He could see i had injuries but just kept asking me if i had been drinking and for me to submit to sob tests on my doorstep. I was confused and asked why. He wouldnt tell me. I said no because he never made clear of why. I was taken to jail and charged with DUR and had to post a 10,000 bond. Im shocked because i didnt drive, was not in or around a vehcle, had no keys, and no alcohol was on they premises. The vehicle he listed on report belongs to mother. She had an accidentand vehicle is totaled. Its inoperable. I had the police report of accident, the towing bills from the wrecking yard plus just by looking at the vehicle you can clearly see the extensive damage. Yesterday i received notice in mail the charges sent to D.A. are for DUI, careless, DUR and menacing!! WOW then i got a voicemail from bondsman that i need to go to their office immediately. Am i going to re-arrested? What should i do? My arraignment isnt until 2 more weeks

Sorry about what you are going through, but you need a good attorney, this is too complicated and has too many unanswered questions.
