Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
restraining order
neighborhood juveniles broke into my houseas well as about eleven other houses and stole some electronics(ipod) and some other things, the police found our items in the kid's house, the kid says that he bought it from some ''mexicans''(there are very very few latin americans in our entire town)...can we file for a restraining order against these kids? They still linger about as if they are casing the neighborhood, and frankly we do not feel safe.

Re: restraining order
If the kids have been charged, there is already a protective order in place preventing them from harassing victims or witnesses.
If you feel threatened, call the police.
Good luck.
