revocation hearing

at a revocation hearing for misdemeanor check fraud, will i go to jail that day or do i have the chance to get a continuance to get an attorney?

You do have the right to an attorney at the hearing, though the judge may be peeved that you didn't already hire one. While a continuance may be likely, the judge may also set a bond (bail) to guarantee your appearance at the new hearing.

You may get a continuance. Depends on who the judge is. You may be deemed to have waived your right to counsel by your failure to hire counsel already. What county is this in? Who is the judge?
