Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
My Rights
I was charged with a felony in Jan. I have very small income so had to have a public defender. I have been passed around to 3 different public defenders and have not ever had a chance to discuss my case with them. They talk to me for a couple of minutes before my court dates and will not return my phone calls. Now they've set motions hearing, a pre-trial hearing and the actual trial dates and No One has even talked to me. What can I do? (This happened in Grand Junction)

Re: My Rights
Ask to speak with the public defender's supervisor. He or she may be willing to intercede for you.
Good luck.
