You have a right to a trial - by jury if you like, the prosecution has to prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt, you have the right to confront the witnesses and evidence in open court, you have the right to an attorney that you hire or a court appointed attorney if you qualify, you have the right to present evidence, you have the right to subpoena witnesses, you have the right to present a defense, you have the right to appeal your conviction if found guilty. If the burglary is an class 3 felony or you are being held in jail, then you have a right to a preliminary hearing.

This question is quite broad. There are lots of different issues in a criminal case and there may be very good defenses in yours. There is no way I could answer all your questions without getting the police reports and spending some time working on it.
