Sealing Records in Colorado
After completing the requirements of a deffered sentence and having the Judge recommend my son's file be sealed. He was told by a CO attorney that the law had been changed and his record could not be sealed. Is this true? How does one go about having a record sealed?

There are different rules if your son entered his plea as a juvenile or an adult. The rule for adults is that a record can be sealed in the case is completely dismissed (which happens in deferreds sucessfully completed. Get the petition forms from the self help center of the ct. house.
