slander ?

i had a employee who set up a myspace page. that shows my tattoo studio it show him and the other employees it show their work and directions ,phone number and a place were he could talk with customers of the shop. so there is a code to the site. to answer questions.so this employee quit awhile back i ask for the code he says he forgot the code i check the the myspace pahe and he pit on the page that my tattoo studio gives out H.I.V this is very bad for my shop.is this slander and what can i do?

First you can contact the myspace administrators, and tell them if they do not take down the site they will be named in your lawsuit. Then you can call the police and ask that your former employee be cited for criminal libel. Then you can sue this guy for whatever he's worth (and I'm guessing he's not worth much) because what he has done is libel per se, which means you don't even have to prove actual damage to win a money recovery.
