Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
our son was charged with internet sex crime. question...The day he was charged {he is an adult} we recieved a call from the person who was a policeman that caught our son online talking to an underage girl of 14 But it was a police setup to catch theses type of people. When this happened that man called he told us what crime our son commited and then proceeded to read the conversation from the internet to us. Was this legal to do this? to read it to us. ?

There is no privacy right for defendant in criminal allegations.
More important - your son needs an excellent attorney immediately. Do not talk to anyone except your son's attorney and/or the attorney's investigator.
I would be happy to represent him.
