I have had good luck with case managers. When my clients go into parole hearings, the parole board already has copies of DOC success "packets" and parole plans. I argue in support of the parole plan. Usually, parole reacts positively. Many inmates eventually get parole without doing such a plan. "Eventually" means years later.
