Re: Statue of limitations

The statute depends on the level of crime and the type of crime. Unless it fits in one of the other categories, an F3 has a 3 year statute of limitations. But, this applies to the time from the date of the crime to the filing of charges/information. If the prosecutor filed charges within the 3 years, then they have met the statute. The warrant means they have likely filed the charges. Some warrants have expiration dates and some do not - typically, a felony warrant does not have an expiration date.

There may be other problems with timing and filing etc. It is difficult or impossible to give much more information without lots more information.
