Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Ok so i have a tab at the local bakery where I ski and its around 300 dollars or so, I make small little payments every now and then like $20 here, $5 there....whatever i have in my pocket, well i haven't made any kind of payment in like 3 weeks, nor have i been in there, he calls me twice a day for the past 3 days saying hes going to call the cops and that's its a felon to have a tab that high....is that true???

The level at which theft becomes a felony used to be $500. It is now $1000. Many years ago, I think it was $250 or $300. Perhaps that is the thing to which the creditor is referring.
