can I travel outside the United States as a convicted fellon after I finnish my sentence

Although traveling as a convicted felon may win you a few speaking engagements, you might prefer to travel as an ordinary citizen.
A completed felony conviction and sentence will not bar you from getting a passport, nor from traveling to most countries. Some Visa applications ask about criminal convictions (England, for example), some do not (France).
If your conviction was for a sexual assault, or other aggravated crime of violence, you may encounter difficulty.
