Hello,
My son was arrested about a week ago for simple robbery for robbing a bank. At the time of his arrest he denied that he had committed the crime and asked for a lawyer. After sitting in jail for a few days, he would like to admit to his crime and we would like to know if it is better for him to wait to talk to his public defender or go ahead and ask to see the arresting officer and admit it to him. The bank has pictures of him and many people have called in to identify him. His court date has been set for July 9, 2015.
Thank you for your answer.
