If an univited person enters your house with the intent to commit burglery, in colorado, are you permitted to use leathal force against the individual to protect your property?

You are allowed to use reasonable and appropriate force to prevent or terminate what a person reasonably believes to be a theft, but you cannot use deadly force unless it falls under the circumstances needed to justify defense of self or another person. For more information, look at Colorado Revised Statutes 18-1-706 and 18-1-704.
