Video Statements for Convictions.
Can A person be convicted on domestic violence charges if a video statement was taken by a police officer. But the witness in the case doesnt show up for court at the time of trial?

Generally if the vidoe statement was by the alledged victim, no, as there is a case called Crawford that prohibits this. However, there are exceptions to that rule.
