Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Antabuse and Monitored Sobriety

I would like to know if a probation officer can mandate that a person sentenced to monitored sobriety take antabuse rather than give the option of daily breath tests? I have heard form several people in my situation that an option must be given due to a past lawsuit in Boulder County. My health professional states that it could pose extreme dengers to certain illnesses from which I suffer.

I was sentenced in Boulder County of a felony alcohol charge.

thanks

Re: Antabuse and Monitored Sobriety

Antabuse requires a prescription. If your doctor does not recommend it, you get a statement from him and then you should be on monitored sobriety.
