bail bond

was charged with dui, under restraint as a persitent driver, weaving. 1. 42-4-1301, 2. 42-2-138, 3. 42-4-1007. what is the maximum amount of bond that should have been to bond out? i was given a bond of 10,000.00, does not seem right.

$10,000.00 is the maximum.

by statute, if DUR-alcohol, the bond must be at least 10000. This can be lowered at a hearing. Many jurisdictions do not follow this all the time, but it is out there. the judge could set the bond at any amount, even 1 mil or more
