Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

getting drivers license reinstated

I had a DUI that I plead down to DWAI. I was told I had to wait 3 months to get my DL reinstated. That time is up, I still have 5 alcohol classes to go. What do I need to have/do to get my license reinstated by the DMV? Or do I have to wait till the classes are done? Do I need ''special'' insurance to get my license back?

Re: getting drivers license reinstated

If it is a first offense, you do not have to complete the classes. You need to get an SR-22 from your insurance agent.
