dui in illinois moving to colorado
My license is suspended in illinois for a DUI. I got a job offer in Colorado, is my license still suspended in colorado?

Yes. You have to clear the license here before you can get a Colorado license.

Illinois can only suspend you in Illinois, but Colorado will likely follow that suspension if it learns of it. Colorado should learn of it through the drivers license compact which both states are a part of.
I would still try to get a license in Colorado, but likely you will be denied. If you got a license from a non-compact state, like Michigan or South Carolina, then you would be able to drive in Colorado. Weird, huh.
