Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

DUI & Job Application

In 1984 I was convicted for DUI in

Nebraska. I have never had as much

as a speeding ticket since.

In a job application, I have been

asked the following question: Have

you ever been convicted of any crime

(other than a minor traffic violation)?

Am I obliged to answer 'yes' to this

question?

If you answer truthfully, your answer will be "yes." Whether you are obliged to tell the truth is entirely up to you, unless your application is a sworn affidavit.
