Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Dui for marijuana

First off I have had one dwai conviction when I was seventeen and am now possibly looking at another at the age of 19. I'm hoping I can fight it because their proof would be my failure of a drug test wich would prove I smoked weed in the last 40 days but not that I was under the influence at the time. They searched my car and found a pipe and no weed. I volunteered to do roadsides and walked the line good, when I stood on one leg I held for 3 seconds but then tried again and was holding for like 20 seconds but they said it would not count. I also did an eye test and he said he saw indications of me being under the influence but this was after 12pm and I've read they are not effective this late at night. I told them I had smoked a cigar and was on my way home. I also was under a suspended license even though I had served my time and was eligible for it and I know that doesn't matter. They gave me every ticket they could, dui, weaving, no insurance(which I have proof I did so i'm not worried),paraphenalia, and failure to use turn signal. The cop followed me for about 3/4 mile after he observed me swerving and didn't pull me over, then we came to a stop sign and i didnt signal because i knew a car was following me.i plead not guilty

Sounds like you are looking for a DUI lawyer. I am one. Check out my web-site at www.jasonsavela-law.com for more information.

I could not tell from your post, but were you given a blood test or a urine test???? It makes a huge difference.

The roadside tests are designed for you to fail. I always say do not take them. But - many officers do not conduct them correctly and there tons of ways to attack them.
