Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

dui

On Nov. 14th I was charged with a dui in Lakewood Co. I refused the breathilizer and was jailed overnight and most of the next day. I was pulled over to the side of the road at the time. I received no miranda rights nor a phone call. My wallet with my Georgia drivers license and credit card was in the vehicle when it was towed. I was put on a suicide watch with a bond of $1000. I was in court twice that day and the latter time I asked if their was any chance of being released on O.R. and was told that if i plead out guilty they would let me go at that time. I am extremely claustrophobic and was scared and depressed, so I took it. (I was also charged with reckless driving which was dropped with the plea). I drive cars for a living and I was wondering two things 1 is it possible to get this plea changed with an attorney and 2 will the interstate driver's compact (of which Georgia is not a member of), keep me from having my license suspended in Georgia to?

Thank you

Re: dui

we can try to withdraw the plea and go from there. could you not post the 1000 bond?

you definitely will have problems with your driving in GA if you do not change this plea
