Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

dui and Suspended imposition law

If someone was arrested for a dui and blood level was a .195 can they use the supspended imposition of sentence if this was their first offense of any kind? This incident took place in mesa county, colorado. If so, what can the suspended imposition help with in terms of the legal side and/or the dmv side? At this point the person's only option given to him by his lawyer is to plead guilty to a DUI because he feels the case would be lost at trial. The person is trying to re-enter the military service and can not have this on his record to do so. Any suggestions?

It is the client's decision on whether to take a case to trial or not.
