Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Duration of DUI/DWAI records

I have had two offenses, both in Colorado, one Dwai, and one dui. The dwai has been removed from my driving record, 7 years have elapsed, the dui still remaining, and I am coming up on the 7 year mark, in which I assume will remove it from my driving record. Can employers access these records, after they have been removed from my driving record? I am a flight student, nervous about employment and these records. Assuming they are not on my driving record, are they on any other record? How can I check, what are the databases that employers can use to check these records? Thanks so much!

Re: Duration of DUI/DWAI records

Alcohol convictions do not show up on a motor vehicle record after 7 years, but Colorado keeps the convictions on your criminal record for life. Anyone who can access your criminal record has access to the offenses. You can get them yourself from motor vehicle by requesting a full record.
