Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

dwai on background check

I got a dui charge in the end of 1999 in CO. By 2000, with the help of an attorney, I was able to plea bargain down to misdemeanor dwai with, what i believe was, a deffered sentance. I did all the comm service & classes, paid the fines and completed probation. Now in PA, I am applying for a state Insurance Producers license and I am not sure if this will show up. When i moved to PA in 2002 and got my car insurance it never showed up. Is it still possible to be on a criminal record?

Re: dwai on background check

Unless it was a deferred sentence and your attorney had the record sealed, then it could show up. Only dismissed cases can be sealed in CO, so if there was a plea and conviction, then you cannot seal it.

I do sealings. Contact me if you want your record sealed.
