Yes. We try to get our clients subject to mandatory jail "in-home-detention." Whether to give IHD or jail is usually within the discretion of the judge.

Yes, but. Most courts will consider putting you on a jail alternative for most or all of the 10 days. If there is a good reason to believe the test is inaccurate, we can often get court or DA to not follow that portion. If this is a first, I wonder why you do not fight it?
