Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

DWI and Interlock

I received a DWAI in Colorado which was my first offense. The state required me to have an interlock installed in my vehicle for 2 years. I recently lost my job and may need to relocate back to my home state of Illinois for work. When I get an Illinois license will I be required there to keep the interlock or can I get it removed as I know Illinois' DUI laws aren't nearly as severe as CO.

Re: DWI and Interlock

If Illinois let you take it off, you need to file a special form with Colorado to keep the two years running.
