Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

I was recently pulled over in weld county colorado for speeding and recieved a DWI, DWI per se and a dus. Now I previously had been convicted in the state of nebraska and convicted of three DWI's the last being in 1998. WOuld this be considreed my first offense since the others are 9 years old. One was enhanced to a felony and I did time in prison for it *3 years*

No. Colorado counts lifetime offenses. You face a long potential jail time if convicted. Get a DUI lawyer ASAP.

Yes and no. For purposes of the DMV you may be considered a first time offender if your priors do not appear in your Colorado driving history. This is good because you'd be subject to a much shorter driver's license restriction. Court is another matter and you are looking at significant jail time, especially in Weld County.
