Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Fake Id and DUI

My brother inlaw used my husbands

ID to drink then got caught and used

it again and got charged with a DUI

they even took him to the hospital

and got blood and urine samples.

What is your advice? Obviously it

wasn't my husband he is in the

military and was in training at the

time of the charge.

Whats your advice and what kind of

lawyer should we get?

Re: Fake Id and DUI

You shouldn't need a lawyer at all, if you mean what should your husband do. Simply get a statement from the military attesting that your husband was elsewhere when his ID was fraudulently used, and the DA should dismiss the charge.

Your brother-in-law is in the deep, though.
