My license was taken at the time of arrest but I received no documentation stating that my license was suspended or revoked. Do I still need to request a hearing from the DMV?

Generally, when your license is taken by a.Police Officer you are given a Notice of Revocation. You have 7 days to file a request for a.hearing before the DMV. If you fail to do so your license is automatically revoked on the 8th day. A notice of revocation is mailed to your last known address. It is immaterial whether or not you actually receive the revocation notice. Check with the DMV regarding your current status of your driving privilege or driver's license.

You should seek the assistance of a Driver's license attorney.
