Mistake? Second DUI in Colorado...
A friend was convicted of a DUI in Arizona several months ago. He recently moved to Colorado, where he had a previous DUI from 25 years ago. Colorado just revoked his license for 2 years, stating that because it was his second DUI. We were told by someone that they would only do this if the second DUI was within 5 to 7 years, but this was 25 years ago. His job requires him to drive his company vehicle from job to job, and he will lose his job without a license. Is there a mistake, as this other DUI WAS 25 years ago? Thanks so much.

You should have an attorney look at his motor vehicle record. There may be possible to get a probationary license to drive to work.
