Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

What are my options after I have received a DUI

I recently received a DUI. I was parked on a side road when a cop drove up, I started the car and pulled 10 feet forward when he turned on his lights and pulled us over. He said that he was ivestigating an alarm in the area. He then said that he smelled alcohol on my breath, I replied that I had not consumed any alcoholic beverages, then he requested to look in my eyes i let him, then he asked me to step out of the car, which I did. Then he asked me to do a roadside test and take a breathalizer, both of which I refused. He then handcuffed me and placed me into his car. I was never read my Mirranda rights yet he still questioned if I was drinking, where I was drinking, and where the alcohol was received from. I was then taken to the police station and given a breathalizer which I failed to pass. I am thinking about getting a lawyer and fighting these charges. Do I have a chance with the way the police officer pulled me over or the way i was interrogated? Might I find a way out of this DUI?

You might find a way. The officer may not have had sufficent reason to pull you over. If so, all evidence could be suppressed. Any statements made after you were in custody could be suppressed, if you were not read your rights. You should get an attorney on this right away. If you have lost your license, there are only seven days to act on that.
