Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Never got sentenced.

I received my second DUI about three years ago, and plead guilty. I did not return to the hearing for sentencing. Subsequently there has been a warrant for my arrest ever since. I recently got picked up, and will go before a judge tomorrow. My drivers license has been suspended for over three years, and I have not driven. I'm not concerned about getting my license back. I have done very well for myself proffesionally, and I would put my position in danger if I had to serve any time in jail. What do I need to do to request house arrest, with work release? Do I need an attorney present tomorrow?

Re: Never got sentenced.

You have theoretical jail time exposure for both the DWI and the FTA. Since you were involuntarily apprehended on the bench warrant, the system will not look upon you with sympathy.

If it were me I would surely have a lawyer present when I appeared before the court.
