how traffic misdemeanors effect me
Im a recent graduate from Surgical technology. Im tring to get a job, and i keep getting denied by employers. The legel question I want to ask is, How and why do traffic Misdemeanors hinder me from getting a medical job. (driving under revacation) I have about 7 of them on my record. but no dui.

In most states employers are allowed to decline applicants for any but "discriminatory" reasons such as race, gender or age. Are you sure its the traffic record?

Legally, they don't hinder you from getting a job, but it's possible with that many DURs your potential employers wonder how responsible you are.
My advice is to tell a potential boss up front about the what and why of your convictions, explain what you're doing different now, and don't leave it for them to discover it as a surprise on an employment background check.
