Legal Question in Education Law in Colorado
Education Fundraising
I am a band teacher for a small school district and was just told I am liable for $800 in a fundraiser. I had a record kept in my computer, which I requested a year ago to be replaced when all the other teachers received new computers, after I noticed a few things not working on the computer. I did not make a hard copy of my records and am being held accountable to $800 worth that is still owing. Is this legal?

Re: Education Fundraising
Not sure what you mean here, but if you mean that you were responsible for keeping track of $800, had possession of it and it went missing, then yes you are responsible for it.
If this is about the computer equipment, then it's not clear what your issue is.
