Legal Question in Education Law in Colorado

the government sent my 2007-2008 fafsa information to the wrong school and now I'm stuck with my tuiton bill and can't register for classes. Is their any legal action I can pursue for this

I'm assuming that the application has finally made its way to the "correct" school. I'm also assuming that you will be eligible for financial aid once this application is reviewed and approved. If so, then the problem is interim financial support, covering the current tuition. Have you tried dealing with the school, having them delay the tuition charges until the financial aid application is approved? You may want to look into getting a loan from another source. You'd pay interest on this, but I'm not sure that you could recover this cost from the government, even if they are negligent. Rather than worry about suing, you need to approach this prgamatically so that you can attend school.
