May I request a copy of a complaint filed against me?

Request a copy? You need to be served with a complaint. Were you served or not? If not, then the complaint is not effective. There are limited circumstances where you can be "constructively" served, but those do not really apply to an elder law matter, which is what you put this under.
Please speak with an attorney if you have been served with a complaint as your answer and defenses are critical and you will waive various defenses if this is not done properly.
