Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

If the biological dad has not paid support or attempted to make contact in 2 years do I need to try to find him to inform him of step dad adopting him or have him sign over rights?

Yes, you do. If you don't show the court that you have made diligent efforts to inform the father the adoption will not be approved.
