Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

I am the biological mother and i am trying to get my son back in the home with me he is currently living with the aunts best friend who is not related to the child nor do i barely know her what is my legal rights as a parent to get my son back?

I need more information to even begin to respond to this. Why is the child with the aunt's friend? What state is the child living in? How long has the child been living with this person? Are there court orders that the child live with the aunt's friend (if not, are there any court orders regarding care and custody of the child and what do the orders say). If there are no court orders at all, it's possible you may just be able to go get the child. Hope this helps.
