Can I change a divorce decree that was filed in Illinois, in Colorado?

You can try. You need to file to register the Illinois decree in Colorado. If the court grants your motion to register it here (the other party can oppose the change), then the Colorado court will have the power to modify or change your Illinois decree. It can be complicated to do, especially if the other party opposes the change, since there are a lot of factors in play with respect to whether the case can/should be moved.
