Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

When Does Child Support Stop

According to CRS14-110-15 Child support continues until the child reaches age 19 unless the child drops out of high school or graduates. How come the judge says I must continue to pay, even though one child has graduated and the other has dropped out of school.I am not ordered to pay secondary education.

Re: When Does Child Support Stop

Actually, the only reference to high school indicates that child support may continue *past* 19 if the child is still in high school, even if the child at one time dropped out. High school attendance is not required for child support.
