Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

Childe Custody Issues

My son is 14 years of age. His mother has legal custody of him. Her home is unstable and not health for him. My son wants to live with me, and I can provide a safer and more stable home for him. I have had visitation rights for the last 6 years, and had to take his mom to court for visitation rights. How old does my sone have to be to make his own decission in front of a judge, and where can I find a good attorney who will fight for me and my son, who isn't week in court.

Thank you.
