Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

College funding responsibility of non-cust. parent

I have an agreement from 1988 where I agreed to share in the cost of college for my two kids. One is 1 1/2 years away and will likely attend college. I have had a continuing struggle to see my kids, have been attacked once by the steady live in man, have paid full support every year and resent being forced to pay for college. My question is, am I required by law to share in the cost even if I'm consistently left out of all decisions and Mom's contempt of many other parts of the agreement is clear.? Our agreement isn't any more detailed than "the cost will be shared". Thank you

Forced to Pay for College?

What's remarkably missing here, which I am sure is an interest of yours, is that your son or daughter be able to attend college. Have you considered mediating these issues?
