Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado
So I am dealing with an ex husband that is making decisions regarding my kids schooling and activities that I have to fight in court. He's choosing places I can't get to because of lack of transit system access. I am legally blind and need transit access. I've found that there is no disability support in this area. People with disabilities are greatly ignored when it comes to family law and their needs are not always regarded. I have no idea what I can possibly do to protect myself from my ex making choices and decisions that directly affect my access to the kids. Can even sue him for discrimination? What are my options? It seems this crosses different types of law: family, disability rights, etc.

No, you cannot sue your ex for discrimination. Your recourse is to hire a family law attorney to argue for appropriate orders before the divorce court. The judge is interested in the best interests of the children. That is the standard you need to focus on in your arguments.
